Since their inception in 1998, Elmacom have extended their services to the design and integration of complex units and equipment for defence, civil and satellite communications to meet customer requirements. VHF-UHF MINIATURE POWER AMPLIFIER

This amplifier of the E10400 family delivers 13W at 1dBc output power over 30MHz to 500MHz frequency range, a 30dB minimum gain, 60dB gain control range, AM, video and pulse input modulation with excellent spectral purity and thermal efficiency over an extended temperature range of -40°C to 90°C.

MINIATURE HI POWER AMPLIFIER FOR TETRA BASE STATION

The model E10100 wideband power amplifier has been re-designed to meet TETRA requirements. This three-stage amplifier operates in the 350MHz to 470MHz frequency range, with a 65W at 1dB compression minimum output power. The E10100 offers 43dB of gain and 60dB of ACG range for low distortion AM modulation.

Capable of handling a 3:1 VSWR mismatch at 90°C and at the maximum output power over the entire frequency range, the amplifier is housed in a 59.8mm by 55.3mm by 17mm (2.34in by 2.18in by 0.67in) hermetic metal case with SMA RF connectors. The E10100 operates from -40°C to 90°C (base plate) temperature range.

HIGH EFFICIENCY HPA FOR DIGITAL TV

Model E10550 wideband UHF power amplifier module is designed for commercial transmit applications over 500MHz to 850MHz frequency range. The design provides 100W and 200W CW over the entire frequency range with a typical 55dB of power gain using the same case and size at a reduced premium for the customer. That's the result of a unique thermal approach of its case design which allows such power increase in a 3.7in by 8in by 1in size only.

VHF AND SHF SWITCHING MATRIX FOR SATCOMMS

Elmacom ship a variety of switching matrix units for satellite ground station equipment. Operating frequencies vary from VHF to SHF bands. Units are available with a wide combination of input and output numbers and can be designed to meet various gain and operating frequency range requirements. Each input can be driven to the desired output through local or remote controls. Gain frequency range, input / output configuration and other requirements (as isolation and flatness) are designed to meet the customer specification.

OUTDOOR DISPLAY PANEL FOR BUS AND VESSEL FLEET MANAGEMENT

The Elmacom outdoor display panel consists of a high-brightness LED matrix of W=60cm by H=12cm (i.e. five characters on two rows minimum configuration) which can be expanded to as large a size as is required to cover a variety of applications.

The display can be used for graphic or alphanumeric static or dynamic messages. A sensor sets the level of each LED's brightness to save energy at night or for specific lighting requirements. This adjustment can also be manual at the time of the installation or remotely controlled by the central control room. This is a cost-saving feature hard to achieve in a multiplexed driven display.

A BITE system monitors all modules to call for repair if necessary. A TV camera (or webcam) can be installed on the top of the tower to increase passenger protection or for surveillance purposes. Messages are refreshed in real time via wi-fi, radio or cable. The cable connection allows data to be sent via the Internet.
