Gamma Nu, Inc. a second-to-none antenna company, founded in 1997 and focused on antennas to date, develops, manufactures and markets high-performance mobile communication antennas.

FIELD PROVEN ANTENNA RELIABILITY

The performances have been well proven not only by Korean CDMA 800 (GSM900) and PCS 1800 (DCS1800) but also by the recently re-boomed IMT2000 (UMTS) and brand new mobile internet service WIBRO (WIMAX).

Our customers include Korean leading cellular carriers like SKTelecom, LGTelecom, KT and KTF.

CDMA, GSM, DCS, UMTS, WIBRO AND WIMAX BASE STATION ANTENNAS

The Gamma Nu base station antennas are field proven IMD free antennas. The standard ±45° polarised 65° half-power beamwidth with down tilt angle T0 for each separate band is offered basically. The broadband sector antennas and the dual band sector antennas are also available. The special 90° and 33° sector beamwidths and other fixed tilt angles like T2, T4, T6, T8 are available on request. The triple polarisation antenna, V and ±45°, is offered with the same height. The antenna heights are offered in two standards of 2.6m and 1.3m typically. Other heights are also available upon request. All Gamma Nu base station antennas are offered with fibre-reinforced plastic cover radome, suitable for use in any harsh environment.

IN-BUILDING COVERAGE ANTENNAS

Patch, Omni and Yagi antennas are used to extend mobile communication coverage into the indoor blind regions of basements, subways and tunnels. They are highly featured as aesthetic outlooks covering multi-band services with one antenna, which offers cost-effective, environmentally friendly installation.

WORLD SPACE MOBILE SATELLITE DAB RECEIVER AND ANTENNA

A mobile active antenna is mounted on the roof of the riding to receive the world space satellites, allowing crystal clear digital audio broadcasting services through the DAB receiver. The field-of-view angle is so broad that it can keep the WS satellite signals alive driving in any direction along any road.

QUALITY AND EFFICIENT ANTENNA MANUFACTURING

Gamma Nu is envisioned with the spirit of the IMD free antenna. Since passive IMD (Inter Modulation Distortion) causes severe noise, it affects clarity as well as revenue of the cellular communication networks. It is highly advisable for all cellular operators to keep the air interface network free from IMD.

The antenna quality and efficiency are achieved by using a few critical-to-quality components inside. All the supplies will be manufactured to the highest standards and to meet Gamma Nu's input inspection test, through which even slightly disqualified antennas are withdrawn.

The manufacturing batches are split into smaller cells to keep the marketing people alert as well as to save the inventory management burden. These efforts have enabled Gamma Nu to be more efficient and 'just-in-time' to the customer request. Further, every antenna's VSWR and IMD are logged for statistical quality management. It shows the stringent quality and the efficient manufacturing of Gamma Nu's IMD free antenna.
