EBU Upgrades Earth Stations using PPM's ViaLite Fibre Optic Links

In 2006 Eurovision selected PPM as the supplier of replacement fibre-optic modems for their earth stations located throughout Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. The equipment was chosen because of its compliance with the technical and delivery requirements of Eurovision as well as for its competitive pricing.
As well as the manufacture and factory testing of each item, PPM also co-operated with Eurovision to deliver the equipment to 42 EBU members located in 33 countries. The equipment was installed and commissioned by the EBU members.
