Huber+Suhner, based in Herisau/Pfäffikon, Switzerland, and Spinner, two leading brands in radio frequency measurement technology, are to combine their RF testing product range. In February, the two companies signed an agreement allowing them to sell parts of each other's product range.
From 1 March 2011, Europe's two market leaders in measurement technology will provide each other with parts of their measurement technology product range. Huber+Suhner will add Spinner calibration components to their product range. In return, Spinner will sell the established Sucoflex® and Sucotest® measurement cables.
The two companies’ main aim is to provide their existing customers with an additional product range. The entire measurement technology range will also appeal to new customers who wish to purchase radio frequency measurement technology solutions from a single source.
For the moment, the two companies will sell their partner's products through their own sales channels in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. At a later stage, the companies will identify specific sales channels in measurement technology with a view to expanding in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The sales process will then be extended by an electronic sales platform that will enable products to be ordered online.
