Concepts such as 'one stop shop' or 'all inclusive service' are mentioned more and more as key features in discussions on future customer-supplier relationships in the mobile communication sector.
Spinner meets this challenge and offers our customers an expanded product portfolio from now on. Besides the well-known Spinner connectors, jumper cables and surge protectors which our customers value very much our new product range also includes SPINNERFlex™ feeder cables, FlexGround™ grounding kits and FlexFix™ cable brackets. And it goes without saying that everything is the tried-and-tested Spinner quality.
In close co-operation with the world's leading cable manufacturer, Hansen Technology, from China, Spinner is now in a position to offer a broad range of SPINNERFlex corrugagated copper cables. Our portfolio ranges from the highly flexible cable type SF ½" up to the mm flexible cable sizes LF¼", LF½", LF⅞", LF1¼" and LF1⅝".
The corrugated copper outer conductor and a sheath made of UV-resistant, halogen-free HDPE guarantee superior shielding performance and high mechanical strength in a cable with a small bending radius.
All cable outer conductors are made of high-conductivity copper, the inner conductors are either made of copper tubes or, for cable sizes ½" and smaller, of copper-plated aluminium. The SPINNERFlex cables have an insulation layer of low-attenuation PE foam with a closed cell structure to effectively prevent water ingress. Thus they offer the user everything that really counts in mobile communication networks: loss-free and noise-free transmission of RF signals from the transmitter station to the antenna and excellent VSWR, attenuation and intermodulation parameters.
Of course we also offer the matching FlexGround grounding kits for all cable sizes. All FlexGround contact elements are made of tin-plated copper, ensuring reliable contact, low contact resistance and good corrosion resistance. The sheath made of self-sealing EPDM provides an excellent sealing function and good weather protection over the whole service life, even under the worst ambient conditions. To make installation easier the FlexGround grounding sets are delivered ex works with a 24in long 16mm² grounding cable. And other configurations are no problem either.
FlexFix cable brackets round off the product portfolio. There are stainless steel push-on brackets with a simple snap-on mechanism, with the possibility of stacking up to three of them. We also offer bolted brackets made of glass fibre reinforced PP. The brackets are resistant to the effects of temperature, chemicals and UV radiation. As single or double versions they can carry between one and six cables. FlexFix brackets can be combined with various brackets for quick and reliable installation on any carrier profile.
This diversity of perfectly matching individual components allows Spinner to offer our customers the optimum solution for every application.
