2N has been a successful Czech company for some time now. Successful companies prosper and generate profit. But being a successful company also means having a certain social responsibility. It is therefore a crucial and inherent part of the business to support and assist non-profit organizations and those in need. Why not join us?
2N has long worked together with the District of Prague 12, sponsoring programs for children and young people and a whole host of other organizations.
UNICEF
This year the company chose a postcard from the UNICEF project as its Christmas greetings card.
UNICEF postcards and greetings cards have been sold all over the world for over 50 years now. Indeed several hundred thousand are sold each year in the Czech Republic alone. All of us that care about the lifes of others have it within us to make sure that the profit from the sale of these cards, and therefore the chance to help children, is even greater.
Proceeds from the sale of UNICEF goods are used to finance UNICEF programs around the world. These help disadvantaged children that without our assistance would not have the chance to survive to adulthood or go to school.
The "Dlouha Cesta" Citizens' Association
The Dlouhá cesta (Long Journey) citizens' association was founded in 2005 on the initiative of parents forced to cope with the loss of a child.
The "Máme Otevreno?" (Are We Open?) Non-profit Organization
"We support people with special needs, mainly people with mental handicaps and autism, defending their rights, finding them a place on the labor market and seeking out free-time activities. We try to develop the volunteer movement and address society in such a way that as many of us as possible "are open"."
Goalball at the Czech Blind Sportsmen Association
Goalball is a ball game played mostly by the blind and visually impaired. Players must wear non-see-through covers over their eyes during the game. Teams of three men or women play over two ten-minute halves using a rubber ball with eight holes and a bell to produce sound. The game is fast and dynamic thanks to rules that determine that a player must throw the ball within ten seconds of the first defensive contact the team has with the ball. The team that scores the most goals is the winner.
Milovice Children's Home
The Children's Home in Milovice, which is based at Dětská 321, 289 23 Milovice, is a medical facility for children of between 1 and 3 years of age. The children here stay in two wards or make use of a short-stay day ward. There are 15 children in each ward. Medical and educational care is provided here to children that are socially at-risk, problematic and handicapped. The children arrive from institutes for infants, hospital and homes based on provisional measures taken by the court or as part of institutional care imposed by court ruling.

The Ice Hockey Team in Benesov
2N was last year one of the main sponsors of the ELAK BN team for the second time and also one of the sponsors that allowed the club to continue its participation in NHLH leagues for non-registered ice hockey players.
Squash Team
In addition to helping rally and ice hockey, 2N also contributes towards a squash team founded some years ago by Michal Kratochvíl, now Commercial Manager at 2N, who supplemented his income during his studies by coaching. Since then he has been trying to reach ever higher leagues with the team, this year managing to win promotion to the 1st division.
