TOPEX is a Romanian manufacturer of telecommunication equipment, for a wide range of applications. The company has over 17 years of experience in research, development and manufacture of both civil and military telecommunication devices. Originally, we produced a simple fixed cellular terminal which developed into a GSM gateway for the conversion of PSTN calls into GSM calls, and later PSTN / IP / GSM conversion for alternative carriers.

DOUBLE WIRELESS ROUTERS

The double wireless router is an all-in-one device that serves simultaneously as a terminal for voice calls, a router for Internet access, a WIFI access point, a VPN router with powerful firewall, LAN server and a video surveillance server.

The router integrates innovative features such as the DUAL SIM technology which permits the unit to automatically switch networks in the event of one network failure. IPSec VPN, L2TP and PPTP tunnels over the Internet can be used with complete security. The router acts as a voice cost optimiser tool for fixed location to mobile calls with least-cost routing capability.

3G VOICE TERMINALS

Voxell ISDN is a fixed-cellular 3G terminal for voice, its main functionality being to connect ISDN PBXs and phones with one or two UMTS mobile networks. The digital PBX is connected to Voxell ISDN through an ISDN-BRI interface (two voice channels at 64Kb/s).

Using the automatic routing of the digital PBX, any call with a mobile network destination will be routed through Voxell ISDN. This way, the fixed-mobile calls are converted into mobile-mobile calls inside the same network with substantially reduced cost.

TOPEX MULTIACCESS GSM

TOPEX multiACCESS GSM versatile equipment works with GSM modules and is highly scalable. It features multiple possibilities of interfaces: VoIP, PRI, BRI, E1, UMTS/GSM, FXO and FXS at the same time. As signalling protocols, it supports H323, SIP, ISDN, SS7, R2, and R1.5 and therefore it also acts as a protocol converter.

Through the use of multiACCESS GSM, operators can terminate calls on GSM networks and can benefits of the convergence of mobile, fix and IP telephony.
