TOPEX Reaches Another Milestone - 35 MultiSwitch Solutions Sold Worldwide

TOPEX, the innovative European telecommunication company, is celebrating two years since its official launch of Softswitch on the local and international market. In the 24 months that have passed since, companies from seven foreign countries begun using TOPEX multiSwitch, and 35 solutions are currently functioning worldwide.
TOPEX multiSwitch, a carrier-grade Softswitch CLASS 4 & CLASS 5 solution that provides call-control, multiple services and multiple types of signaling, has benefited from a successful launch during CeBIT Hannover 2006. Since then, the solution has been awarded 2 times by Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC), receiving Communications Solution Product of the Year 2006 Award and also 2007 Internet Telephony Excellence Award.
During this two years period TOPEX has invested a lot in technical development and in increasing the geographical coverage of selling its products. Thus, if in 2006 most Softswitch solutions were sold in UK, in 2007 the area where these solutions were the most wanted was Romania, this year recording an increase with 15% than 2006. The 35 solutions were sold in seven foreign countries being perfectly scalable starting from hundreds, increasing up to hundreds of thousands of users.
TOPEX multiSwitch is situated in the center of the TOPEX Next Generation Networks architecture and it is a flexible solution intended for small and medium companies who intend to offer voice services to their clients on a pay as you grow basis. The product is perfect for application such as wireless NGN, ISP voice upgrades, CaTV voice upgrades or Triple Play Services, featuring Class 4 and Class 5 telecom services over an IP-based infrastructure.
It platform comprises the most extensive range of signaling protocols in the same equipment providing call-control intelligence for establishing, maintaining, touring and terminating voice calls. In addition, it serves as an interface for enhanced service and application platforms.

Starting with 13 solutions sold in 2006, the company managed to reach 35 multiSwitch products sold until now in companies all over the world and expects to increase this number with 40% by the end of the year.
