VOIP-GSM GATEWAY CONNECTING IP, GSM AND ISDN: ECOTEL VOIP

The SIP-based VoIP GSM Gateway ECOTEL VoIP provides reliable direct connections between IP, ISDN and GSM networks. Connected to a PBX via S0 or IP the gateway allows users to significantly reduce phone costs through establishing calls via GSM, VoIP or ISDN. The gateway can decide, which way is the cheapest. The number of GSM channels is scalable up to a total of eight.

ECOTEL VoIP offers a sophisticated local SIM management enabling powerful least cost routing. Depending on factors such as the GSM network, the time of day and special rates offered by certain SIM cards, the gateway automatically switches from one SIM card to another. It is possible to use up to 8 SIM cards per channel and 64 SIM cards per gateway.

Additionally, ECOTEL VoIP gateways can be integrated with the ECOTEL VTM SCS (SIM Card Server) using thousands SIM cards of different carriers. Potential applications range from connection to an existing ISDN PBX or integration into an existing VoIP infrastructure all the way through distributed installations with multiple gateways and common management software. The gateway can handle telephone calls as well as a variety of office applications including PC fax, networking, Internet and e-mail. GSM GATEWAYS (ANALOG) CONNECTING ANALOG INTERFACES AND GSM: ECOTEL GSM

ECOTEL GSM enables reliable, cost-effective calls between analog landline networks and GSM networks. An ECOTEL GSM connected to a PBX enables efficient LCR. Further application scenarios are possible e.g. in office containers or on river cruise ships, barges and emergency vehicles. In these cases, ECOTEL GSM can connect complete PBXs as well as single analog phones and fax machines via mobile networks.

CARRIER-CLASS GATEWAY SYSTEM (GSM, CDMA, 3G / UMTS): ECOTEL VTM PRO

The Linux-based ECOTEL VTM pro was designed for extended enterprise and carrier-class applications. This multichannel GSM gateway is especially useful for cost-effective routing of large quantities of calls into mobile radio networks. It uses multiple SIM cards per channel, and can be integrated with the ECOTEL VTM SIM card server. The gateway offers up to 32 GSM channels, 30 VoIP channels and 8 PRI interfaces.

ECOTEL VTM flex helps companies to make cost-effective calls between landline and mobile networks. At the same time, they can use ECOTEL VTM flex to add new functions to existing telephone systems (PBX booster), including computer telephony integration (CTI), interactive voice response (IVR) and mailboxes. ECOTEL VTM flex offers up to 32 GSM channels, 24 VoIP channels, 10 PRI interfaces and 35 BRI interfaces.

With ECOTEL VTM SCS, SIM cards no longer have to be operated locally. You can install and use the cards at a central site. ECOTEL VTM pro and ECOTEL VoIP can access the SIM cards via the network and assign them to different GSM channels. Using the SIM card server, basically any ECOTEL VTM pro or ECOTEL VoIP can use any SIM card in the server.
