Avitec's participation in this year's 3GSM World Congress was a definite success!
Much interest was directed towards Avitec's Frequency Translating repeater, offering operators to cost-effectively roll out their network in rural areas. The band-shifting repeater stretches this concept even further, resulting in faster deployment and even lower site costs! Indoor coverage for UMTS is a hot topic these days.
