Avitec at the In-Building Solutions Conference in Vienna

This year's In-Building Conference included Avitec as one of the presenters at the conference as well as one of three leading suppliers to hold the technical design seminar.
The seminar focused on examining different technical approaches and strategies for the design and implementation of dedicated GSM/WCDMA indoor solutions. Mr. Håkan Samuelsson, who founded Avitec in 1984 and is now Senior Vice President of the company, led this seminar from Avitec's side.
Avitec's presentation during the conference - 'Examining the challenges incurred and the potential solutions to provide seamless coverage onboard high-speed trains' - was delivered by Mr. Rolf Folkesson, who works with business development at Avitec and Mr. Bosse Bergström from the Swedish Railway Authorities.
Avitec received much recognition and attention as one of the exhibitors. The unique repeater solutions described in the seminar and in the presentation were demonstrated. These cost-effective solutions for confined area coverage are suitable for buildings, tunnels and trains.
