Tunnel Radio Coverage in Greece

Avitec is realizing a TETRA coverage project in Greece in co-operation with Attiki Odos. This project is composed of fibre fed repeaters and consists of around 20 tunnels, where VHF radio is to be provided for the Police Force, Fire Brigade and the Ambulance Services whereas TETRA radio is provided for commercial services. A total of 16 VHF repeaters and 20 TETRA repeaters are deployed in order to meet the required coverage in these tunnels.
