C&S Microwave - Indoor Coverage Solutions - RF, Microwave, Broadband and ICS RepeatersWith emphasis on innovation and research and development, C&S Microwave Co. Ltd. (C&S) has won many accolades in since its inception in 1999. C&S designs, develops and manufactures RF products catered to the wireless communication industry. C&S is recognized in Korea for its superior quality products, technical assistance and high levels of customer service. Dedicated research and development and quality conscious manufacturing systems are focused on developing products for the 3G and 4G markets. C&S' product mix includes in-building RF repeaters, home repeaters, microwave repeaters, ICS repeaters, WiMAX / WiBro repeaters, DMB gap filler systems, RFID, moving block systems and location-based service systems. IN-BUILDING RF REPEATERSC&S produces in-building RF repeaters for CDMA, WCDMA and CDMA+WCDMA applications. In-building RF repeaters are indoor repeaters which amplify the signal from a BTS and provide excellent coverage inside buildings and parking lots of less than 1,000m² area. With auto gain control function and auto shut-down function, in-building RF repeaters are capable of maintaining maximum output power. C&S has also developed in-building RF repeaters especially used in homes and small offices located in the shadow area of service. Used for both CDMA and WCDMA applications, they help the installer finding optimized location of donor antenna and repeater. MICROWAVE REPEATERSC&S manufactures microwave repeaters in two models – M/W-C20 and Duo MW-C60. MW-C20 model is based on CDMA while Duo MW-C60 is based on CDMA+WCDMA. Both the models are outdoor repeaters, waterproof, and can be used in urban and semi-urban areas, substituting for optical repeaters. They have a service coverage of 1km-10km and are interference free. Microwave repeaters consist of a donor system which converts the original signal into microwave signal and a remote system which demodulates the microwave signal into amplified original signal. Microwave repeaters from C&S have the advantage of cost-effective maintenance and are equipped with a remote network management system. ICS REPEATERAn ICS repeater is an outdoor wireless RF repeater which amplifies and transmits the same frequency of the signal received from the BTS. Its DSP cancels the feedback signal coming from the service antenna into the donor antenna. ICS repeaters can be used in urban and suburban areas, substituting for optical repeaters. WIMAX / WIBRO REPEATERSWiMAX / WiBro repeaters are installed in shadow areas like parking lots or underground commercial areas of 990m² or less, where signals from the WiMAX / WiBro base station are difficult to reach. C&S provides built-in AGC and installable OFDMA / TDD mode repeaters for its WiMAX / WiBro repeaters. C&S produces two models of WiMAX / WiBro repeaters – WI-IBS a distribution-type indoor fibre-optic repeater, and WIRR-M an RF repeater. A synchronized signal detecting circuit is integrated into the WiMAX / WiBro Repeaters making the switching signals stable and enabling ease of communication between base station and terminal. DMB GAP FILLER SYSTEMA gap filler system is essentially an outdoor repeater for Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB) service. DMB gap filler systems are installed in those areas where satellite signal reception is weak. Weak satellite signals are received by a gap filler system and are restored by demodulating the TDM into CDM. This restored signal is rebroadcasted by the gap filler system in the same modulation as that of the original signal. C&S produces two types of DMB gap filler systems, namely Space A and Space B. Space A gap filler produces an output power of 6W while a Space B gap filler produces 60W of output power. System gain for Space A and Space B Gap Fillers are 45dB and 53dB respectively.
