Our DAS is an effective answer to implementing multi-operator coverage in confined areas, and provides a way to significantly reduce both your initial investment and the cost of operation and maintenance over the entire life cycle of the system.

The network components for signal distribution can be shared by several operators and bands, yet allow each operator to maintain full control of parameters critical to the performance of their cellular network.

Powerwave Technologies provides entirely custom-tailored system components that are ready to be connected to BTSs (Base Transceiver Systems) and antenna systems. This approach minimizes expensive on-site installation.

LinDAS - FIBRE-OPTIC INDOOR DISTRIBUTED ANTENNA SYSTEM

Powerwave Technologies' LinDAS antenna system, based upon proven fibre-optic, RF and software technology, provides cost-effective indoor coverage. Fibre is the natural choice when signals must be distributed over long distances.

LinDAS is a multiband/multioperator system capable of operating in medium to large coverage areas where high reliability, high performance and low total cost of ownership are vital.

The LinDAS distributed antenna system is compatible with all major standards: AMPS/TDMA, GSM, DCS, PCS, CDMA and UMTS.

The LinDAS system is available for the following bands:

  • Single-band: 800MHz, 900MHz, 1,800MHz, 1,900MHz and 2,100MHz
  • Dual-band: 800MHz/1,900MHz, 900MHz/1,800MHz, 900MHz/2,100MHz
  • Triple-band: 900MHz/1,800MHz/2,100MHz

Powerwave Technologies provides high-quality and cost-effective repeaters, including:

  • Band selective repeaters

Our repeaters have been designed to perform at the lowest possible total life-cost level. These products feature a small and discrete design that results in low or no site rental costs. Special cabinets, large battery back-ups and extra cooling are not needed. Furthermore, our repeaters do not require expensive transmission lines.

We also offer repeater accessories, including remote control units, measurement receivers, fibre-optic units, battery back-up units, solar power systems and signal combining kits.
