NEC Deutschland - PASOLINK NEO: Point-to-Point Digital Microwave Access System for Short and Long-Haul ApplicationsNEC Deutschland GmbH, based in Ismaning near Munich, was established as a wholly owned subsidiary of the NEC Corporation in 1987. The product portfolio includes the most modern presentation technology, such as video, LCD and DLP™ projectors and plasma monitors as well as peripherals such as CD-ROM, DVD drives and floppy disks. Telecommunications products and biometric security solutions round off the product range. The sales territory covers Central Europe, including Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well as the Benelux countries and Eastern and South East Europe. DIGITAL MICROWAVE POINT-TO-POINT WIRELESSWith over 50 years of experience in the development and manufacturing of point-to-point wireless systems, NEC offers a complete product family for digital microwave point-to-point wireless for nearly all frequency ranges and transmission capacities, for PDH, SDH, and IP traffic. Security for the future is ensured by the support of Ethernet interfaces. FIXED POINT-TO-POINT WIRELESS ACCESS SYSTEM FOR ADVANCED NETWORKSPASOLINK NEO is an advanced point-to-point digital microwave access system for short and long haul applications. It provides a full range of economical short haul point-to-point microwave radio systems designed for wide range of applications such as mobile backhaul, business networking, IP networking and emergency networking. PASOLINK NEO employs a common platform design that provides scalable configurations to respond to a diverse and versatile range of market needs. PASOLINK NEO offers a wide range of capacities, frequency bands, modulation levels and interfaces with a single common IDU, simply by changing the interface card without having to replace the main IDU or ODU radio equipment. The PASOLINK NEO system meets the increasing demand for digital transmission services and will satisfy the needs for mobile and fixed network access links, private links, new generation networks, temporary networks or emergency links. Its innovative, intelligent design provides scalable solutions with optimal investment value for reduced CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) and OPEX (Operative Expenditure). PASOLINK NEO offers simple and highly reliable radio systems, offering various traffic capacity such as PDH (5/10/16/40/48E1, 1/2E3) and SDH (STM-1, 2xSTM-1) and interfaces such as 10/100 Base-T(X), 1000 Base-SX and 1000 Base-T in the frequency bands from 6GHz to 52GHz. SCALABILITY UP TO YOUR NEEDSThe capacity may be upgraded by software, 4E1 to 16E1 and 32E1 to 48E1. 16E1 to 48 E1 and 16E1 to STM-1 may be upgraded by an interface card swap. The modulation is selectable by software QPSK up to 128QAM. With flexible configuration (1+0, 1+1 HS/SD/FD) the systems is easily changeable and upgradable in line with your requirements. RELIABLE AND EASY TO MAINTAIN NETWORK CONFIGURATIONThe system is superior in its reliability and has easy network configuration. PASOLINK NEO is easy to maintain thanks to advanced PNMSj (PASOLINK Network Management System java version). NEC NLITE AND LONG-HAUL APPLICATIONNEC's NLite series provides traffic capacity PDH (4Mbps x 1.5Mbps to 16Mbps x 1.5Mbps, 1Mbps x 45Mbps, and 1Mbps x 155Mbps) and STM-1/OC3 (155Mbps). NEC can also offer long haul applications with the 3000S for large capacity SDH.
