Botnia Hightech Ready for New Antenna Testing Challenges

Botnia Hightech, a globally operating wireless technology company, has invested in a mobile antenna testing facility. The installation of the chamber and the measurement system by Satimo at Botnia Hightech's headquarters in Kaustinen is complete. The facility has been optimised for mobile terminal antenna testing. The tests carried out in the facility include both passive and active measurements.
The new antenna testing laboratory strengthens Botnia Hightech's position as a leading Scandinavian RF-design service company. It is unique in many ways:

Antenna design and testing is one of our core competence areas and the antenna test chamber is one of the key facilities to support our customers and our own design projects. The company has experience in challenging customer R&D projects where the antenna is the most crucial design element. Increasing use of multi-radio architecture in mobile devices means more-demanding design and higher value can be offered for the customers due to the investments.
Botnia Hightech's testing services cover type approval support, environmental testing, test system development, reliability demonstration, EMC testing and performance verification for R&D projects. The entire service portfolio includes also software design, hardware design and mechanical design.
