Mobile Phone Operators Can Now Support Field Test Drivers & Engineers from the Comfort of the Office

Ascom Mobile Test Solutions has announced the release of a remote access module for their advanced drive test measurement system QVoice Symphony.

In the event of problems that can't be resolved by the driver, the interface provides an over the air link from an office site to the file unit where an experienced staff engineer can identify and correct the difficulty. This procedure allows the driver or field engineer to get on with his task of measuring instead of being obliged to stop work and return to home base to fix the problem, often travelling hundreds of kilometres and a whole day of measurement wasted.

QVoice remote access is destined to save time and costs should trouble arise. It is a practical fall back solution that allows your office based technical staff to give support to drivers with problems they can't resolve themselves.

Another advantage to having QVoice Remote Access, is the ability to access the field system in 'monitor mode' and view from an office PC the measurements in real time as the system is performing the test.
