Astellia Cigale CORE CS application (MAP, CAP and INAP Interfaces)

Astellia introduced the Cigale Core CS application to further improve upon the Astellia solution. It brings additional information related to the Core Network to troubleshoot still more efficiently and quickly with all the standard Astellia GSM, GPRS and UMTS solutions.
When monitoring the access network, causes displayed for issues having their deep source in the core are not detailed. Cigale Core CS displays the missing puzzle piece of your investigation from the monitoring of the MAP link. You save time and directly address the deep cause. For instance if the "Network failure" cause is raised on Gb interface by your Cigale GPRS, Cigale Core CS reveals "congestion between HLR and SGSN".
Then troubleshooting with additional Core causes avoids any MSC or SGSN message interpretation. Call trace is available with Flow Chart, full Protocol Decoding and Multi-Interface investigation on A-MAP, Gb-MAP and Iu-MAP.
Cigale Core CS also generates extended statistics and reports including outbound roaming. Valuable network KPIs are shared between the marketing and management teams, bringing more value to the business analysis:
- Invoicing, fraud analysis
- Outbound/inbound roaming statistics,
- Pre-paid/post-paid distribution,
- 2G/3G distribution
- Packet subscribers/circuit subscribers' distribution
For instance, you get the list of your subscribers facing "roaming not allowed when they travel abroad. You can contact them to offer them to subscribe for roaming!
With the list of inbound roamers who could not attach to your network and the corresponding cause, you can solve the issue to increase your Roaming revenue.
