Astellia, leading provider of monitoring solutions for the optimisation of mobile network QoS and performance was recently selected by Gartner, as one of the cool vendors in communications service provider infrastructure 2011 in a report that lists some of the most innovative companies in this field.

In the report, Gartner identified Astellia as one of five companies providing innovative, impactful and intriguing solutions for mobile operators. Astellia's monitoring and optimisation solutions help operators and equipment vendors to maximise network performance and increase the quality of experience perceived by subscribers.

Astellia was chosen as a cool vendor for its capability to provide a predictive and customer-centric view of the network. The report emphasises the fact that Astellia's solution enables CSPs to proactively tune and optimise network and service performance for a better user experience.

According to Gartner, "communication service provider (CSP) and over-the-top (OTT) managed service provider operations engineers should consider these capabilities. End users care because they can benefit from QoE analysis, and troubleshooting which can be applied to both carrier-hosted and (potentially) third-party solutions including OTT applications."

"We are very pleased to be distinguished by Gartner, renowned for its objectivity and its expertise in technology analysis. We believe this report highlights the fact that monitoring solutions such as ours are essential for service optimisation and recognises our customer-centric solution as particularly innovative thanks to our more than ten years of cooperation with operators," said Christian Queffelec, CEO of Astellia.
