Vodafone Portugal Selects CTS Ellipse Microwave Planning Tool

CTS (Cril Telecom Software), a leading provider of network planning, optimisation and spectrum management solutions including associated services, today announces a new contract with Vodafone Portugal for its Ellipse Microwave Planning Tool Suite.
The contract with Vodafone Portugal includes several Ellipse Microwave Planning licences, installation, existing technical data migration, training and maintenance. Ellipse Microwave Planning will be used for the planning and optimisation of Vodafone Portugal's complete national radio transmission network.
Ellipse Microwave Planning will serve Vodafone Portugal as a unique reference tool for storage, provision, distribution and sharing of all MW transmission network data, such as sites, links and equipment. The tool also includes a comprehensive automatic report function. The automatic generation of reports allows for substantial time and resource savings. Reports can be generated on a link-by-link basis, on certain regions, or on the complete network.
