CTS (Cril Telecom Software), a leading provider of network planning, optimisation and spectrum management solutions, headquartered near Paris in France, wants to strengthen its position in the Latin American market by leveraging its existing customer base.
The company's solution is Ellipse Microwave Planning, for the design and optimisation of point-to-point and point-to-multipoint radio transmission links, addresses, mobile operators and infrastructure providers. Ellipse Spectrum is used by telecommunication regulatory authorities.
Several regulatory authorities in Latin America already confide in CTS' integrated software for automated frequency management, Ellipse Spectrum, and the company's extensive expertise in the area, such as ANATEL in Brazil, COFETEL in Mexico and MTN in Peru.
In addition, several mobile operators in Latin America are using Ellipse Microwave Planning for the design and optimisation of their complete radio transmission network. These include Telcel (America Movil Group), Maxcom and Pemex in Mexico and Megatel in Honduras.
Philippe Catherine, CEO and Chairman of CTS, said:" We want to leverage our existing customer base and partnerships and increase our presence and investment in the region."
CTS has established partnerships with Marconi Wireless for the distribution and support of Ellipse Microwave Planning, and Lattice Telecomunicaciones in Mexico for both product lines. CTS also co-operates with Thales and Rohde & Schwarz for the interface of Ellipse Spectrum with their respective monitoring systems.
