MODULAR TOWERS

Mer Metal Works plant manufactures tubular and angular, three and four legged, self supporting towers with a wide range of accessories.

Modular in design, the towers can be adjusted to any specified wind and ice loadings. Internationally deployed, the towers are designed in accordance with EIA RS-222-F or BS8100 standards.

STANDARD MONOPOLES

Mer's monopole plant produces tapered 18-sided flanged and 'slip joint' monopoles, of up to 60m tall, and their accessories.

Designed to carry a wide range of antennas with cables routed inside the structure, Mer monopoles provide superior protection as well as an aesthetic appearance, and can be adjusted to any specified wind and ice loadings.

In use internationally, Mer poles are designed in accordance with EIA RS-222-F or BS8100 standards.

CAMOUFLAGED POLES

Special sites often require tailor-made solutions to meet customers' requirements. Mer can design special-purpose monopoles or modify existing monopoles without drastically affecting schedules.

Mer also designs internal-access monopoles, tree look-alikes, futuristic shapes and colors, and other aesthetic rooftop and ground structures.

COW (CELL ON WHEELS)

Mer Group offers a number of mobile site solutions: mounted on trucks, trailers or as stand alone units. The COW includes latticed telescopic 12m-30m aluminum towers, an equipment shelter, 3kVA-12kVA generators, air conditioners, etc. This solution can be easily adapted to any size of truck or trailer.

STEEL SHELTERS

Mer Group can supply and install pre-fabricated insulated steel shelters for all kinds of communication and security equipment. They are available fully contructed or knock-down, have system integration - power distribution, alarms, HVAC, cable ladders, cable entries, grounding, etc., and can be transported by sea or land to the site.

DESIGN AND INTEGRATION OF SITES

The design and integration of sites includes site inspection and evaluation, structural engineering and civil works, integration of equipment and infrastructure, construction of towers and monopoles, installation of RF equipment, commissioning and maintenance.

Design services are provided by Mer's engineering department, including structural steel, foundations and civil works. Design is carried out by experienced teams of engineers according to EIA or BS standards and customers' requirements.

GREEN FIELD SITES

Our green field site services include site pre-qualification and evaluation, complete infrastructure design - architectural, structural, electrical, grounding, etc., execution of all civil works - excavation, levelling, drainage, fencing etc., supply and erection of towers and/or monopoles, supply, installation and reticulation of equipment shelter, and installation and commissioning of RF and MW equipment.

ROOFTOP SITES

Rooftop solutions include the adaptation of monopoles and towers, wall and roof mounts for panel and MW antennas, non-penetrating structures and supports, and steel frame supports for shelters and heavy equipment.
