Hutchison 3 UMTS Network, United Kingdom

Hutchison 3G UK Ltd., owned by Hutchison Whampoa, NTT DoCoMo and Dutch KPN, acquired the largest block of spectrum in the UK government's 3G license auction in April 2000 for £4.38 billion.
